What we do

Three exterior trades, our own crews.

Decks, siding and eavestrough are how your home meets the weather. We design, build and finish all three with our own owner-led crews, so the details line up and an owner answers for the result.

Owner-led, every time

Two owners. One standard.

Zack Posteraro and John Gadomski each lead a crew, so an owner runs your project from the first walkthrough to the final walkaround. No handoffs to a subcontractor, no salesperson you never see again.

  • Clear options explained before you commit, with honest trade-offs between materials.
  • A clean site every day. Our clients mention the daily cleanup in their reviews.
  • Issues found mid-job are flagged and discussed, never buried behind new siding.
  • A completion walkaround with you, so the job is done when you say it is.

FIVE STARS! We hired Zack and John to install wood siding onto our house. We quickly saw how detailed they were with their work and hired them onto tackle additional projects for us. They built a 16'x32' two-level back deck with privacy screen/railings/stairs/deck skirting, a fence along one side of our property, two gates and a 10'x16' shed as well. Their communication is excellent. Any issues or changes that came up with the projects were clearly explained and discussed.

This is the fourth house that we have renovated and they are, by far, the best company that we have hired to complete these types of projects.

John and Zack are a pleasure to deal with. We've had the good fortune of working with them on a number of occasions over the past few years. Always prompt, always professional, their work is immaculate and of the highest caliber. It often draws compliments from neighbours and visitors without prompting. We've referred them without reservation to many friends and neighbours. We highly recommend them, and wish them well in building an already-terrific 'brand'.

Extremely professional and high quality work is all I have to say. John and Zack did all my sofit, facia, eavestroughs, and exterior siding. I couldn't be happier with the quality of work and craftsman ship. Given the age of my house it was a tricky job and multiple headaches popped up, as you can imagine on a 150 year old house. They were both very transparent on what needed to be done and gave me options. Highly recommend these two hard working men.

We just had our old siding replaced on our home by Escarpment Contracting Co. Zack and his team did a great job! We love it! Our home is warmer for sure! Zack was very helpful answering any questions we had and made recommendations when he discovered any issues while doing the work. Did a walk around on completion to ensure we were satisfied. His crew cleaned up every day as well. We highly recommend Escarpment Contracting. Thank you Zack!

How it works

From walkthrough to walkaround.

Fresh cedar deck boards laid with consistent reveals around a bungalow

Site walkthrough

We visit, listen to how you want to use the space, and look at the structure, drainage and grading that will shape the build.

Options and quote

You get clear material options with honest trade-offs, then a written, no-obligation quote for the scope we agreed on.

The build

An owner runs your build personally: precise measurements, tidy details, and a site that gets cleaned up every day.

Completion walkaround

We walk the finished project with you and make it right before we call it done. Your neighbours will ask who built it.

Where we work

Caledon to Collingwood, and the towns between.

We build across the Headwaters and the escarpment corridor: Caledon, Bolton, Palgrave, Orangeville, Mono, Erin, Alton, Georgetown, and north to Creemore, Collingwood and the Blue Mountains. If you are on the hills, we know your weather and your township.

See our full service area, including the projects we have built in each town.

Do you handle projects outside Caledon?

Yes. Most of our work runs along the corridor from Caledon up to Collingwood, and we have built as far as Emsdale in cottage country and into Toronto. If you are nearby, ask us: the answer is usually yes.

Do I need a permit for my project?

In most of our corridor, decks attached to the house or more than 60 cm off the ground need a building permit, while siding and eavestrough replacement usually do not. Rules vary by township, and properties near the escarpment can have conservation overlays. We flag what your project needs during the walkthrough and plan the build around it.

When should I book?

Spring and summer build slots fill first, so the best time to start the conversation is a season ahead. Eavestrough and siding work runs deeper into the cold months than deck builds.

New: flexible financing

Build now, pay over time.

You no longer have to choose between the project you want and paying for it all at once. We now offer flexible financing on deck, siding and eavestrough work, so you can spread the cost over manageable monthly payments. Ask about it when we quote, and we will lay out the options with the same honesty as everything else.
